INTRODUCATION:-

The annihilation of caste was written by Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (1891-1956) popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar. He was a scholar, devoted leader, committed writer, educationist, social rebel, powerful debator, administrator, Liberal emancipatior, authoritative constitutionalist, master statesman, darling liberator of the down trodden masses and fearless fighter. He was born into a dalit family, he faced social and economic discrimination. But due to a scholarship given by Maharaja of Baroda, he was able to study abroad. He was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna

EXPLANATION:

Hindu society seems to Ambedkar is standing for a moral revival. Now the question is who can resolve this. Obviously, those who have undergone an intellectual regeneration and who has courage of their convictions born to intellectual emancipation Ambedkar argued that hindu leaders are quite unfit for the task. These leaders will nevertheless unblushingly appeal to ideals of the past, they still have a mystic respect for the earlier forms which make them disinclined.

The Mahatma is no exception though he  appears not to believe in annihilation of caste, prefers to follow the saints for the moral regeneration for every act of independent thinking, he put same portion in an apparently stable world in peril. According to Dr. Ambedkar the most influential apologist of Hindu archaic social structure and the worst enemy of the Hindus.

Unlike the mahatma Hindu leaders, Brahmins and priest everyone were unable either dishonest or an indifferent to give proper guidance to the mass of the people. They engaged in such activities which are prohibited by their shastras. This was done for class and position prestige. It was a most disgraceful phenomenon that intellectual class have been pursued. They are indifference to educate dalits in the light direction. Dalits are witness of a great tragedy.

 

CONCLUSION:-

The lesson “Annihiliation of caste” written by B.R.Ambedkar depicts the discrimination of high class people in the name of the caste. He expressed his grief towards scheduled classes and backward sections of people. He also appeal to Hindu society (Brahmins) should undergone intellectual survival to work for their upliftment and empowerment in the society.
